An early-stage, product-led company with a team of 16 people, operating fully remote. The engineering team is small (Head of Engineering + 2 developers), and they are actively scaling.
Their platform is built on a serverless AWS architecture, with Golang powering backend services (Lambda-based) and lightweight React applications on the frontend.
The company is currently facing technical debt challenges, particularly within the backend, and is looking to bring in strong senior engineers who can operate independently, simplify systems, and help stabilise and scale the platform.
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work directly alongside the project’s technical founder to evaluate the existing prototype, establish architecture standards, and lead development of the first production-ready version of the platform.
This role is heavily focused on backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, architecture reviews, scalability planning, and production readiness.
The ideal candidate will help take an existing proof-of-concept application and transform it into a scalable SaaS platform ready for commercial launch.
This is not a typical developer role.
The client is looking for someone who can operate as a technical lead, bring recommendations to the table, perform architecture and code reviews, identify technical debt, improve deployment processes, and help shape the technical roadmap.
The successful candidate will be expected to work highly autonomously with minimal day-to-day direction.

This is the client's first dedicated, full-time AI Engineer. The successful candidate will serve as the founder's primary technical partner, taking AI and automation projects from ambiguous client brief through to deployed solution, across multiple concurrent engagements.
The role is AI-first with strong backend foundations. The engineer will build large language model-powered automations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and agentic workflows, alongside the backend services, integrations, and infrastructure that support them. On a small team, the engineer is expected to move flexibly across disciplines, data pipelines, APIs, integrations, evaluation tooling, rather than remain confined to a single area.

The engineer will participate in client calls to gather requirements, translate broad asks into concrete deliverables, and maintain momentum on engagements that risk stalling.
