Role Overview
The QA Engineer will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. Responsibilities include translating requirements into test cases, executing manual and automated tests, conducting API testing, reporting bugs, and recommending improvements. The role emphasizes building scalable test suites, identifying risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high software quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and provide actionable feedback.
- Convert acceptance criteria into clear, comprehensive test cases.
- Apply appropriate test design techniques based on risk level and project timelines.
- Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and usability tests.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Lead the planning, design, execution, and reporting of performance and load tests using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or K6.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and workloads.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., response times, throughput, resource utilization) to identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations.
- Create detailed and effective bug reports and communicate issues clearly.
- Identify test conditions, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Recommend tools, frameworks, and strategies to accelerate QA processes.
- Develop scalable and maintainable test assets.
- Collaborate within traditional, iterative, or Agile development practices.
Required Skills
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.
- Strong experience in Performance and Load Testing, including the ability to lead performance testing efforts end-to-end.
- Hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, K6, or similar.
- Ability to design performance scenarios, create complex performance scripts, analyze system behavior, and provide recommendations to improve performance.
- Understanding of performance metrics and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in using test management tools (Qase, Zephyr, HP ALM, or similar).
- Experience in API testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Experience building scalable and efficient test suites.
- Knowledge of cloud-hosted SaaS architecture (e.g., AWS).
- Cross-functional team collaboration.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Experience using Jira for project tracking.

- BrowserStack or other cross-browser testing tools.
- QA process improvement and cycle time reduction experience.
- Automation testing experience.
- Confluence experience.
- Familiarity with Figma
