Senior Full Stack Engineer

The client is building a modern financial platform designed to operate at scale in a regulated environment. Their focus is on shipping reliable, production-ready software while maintaining strong standards around security, compliance, and system stability. They value engineers who understand the full lifecycle of a product, from development to deployment and real-world production support.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, owning features end-to-end and supporting production systems.

• Building and maintaining application features across frontend and backend
• Owning deployment pipelines and release processes
• Supporting and improving AWS infrastructure
• Debugging production issues across the full stack
• Contributing to observability through logging, metrics, and tracing
• Helping maintain security and compliance standards suitable for financial services
• Collaborating within a small, high-trust engineering team with clear ownership

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience building and scaling production applications
• Frontend development using modern React-based frameworks (Next.js or similar)
• Backend development with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS or similar)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US Eastern business hours

Nice to Have / Optional Skills

• Experience with message queues such as SQS or Redis
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK)
• Background in financial services or other regulated industries
• Experience working in compliance or audit-driven environments
