We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer (C#/.NET) to join a highly skilled and collaborative development team working on a comprehensive, greenfield financial services platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a top-tier software development portfolio, contributing to a product that spans trade execution via FIX protocol, payments via banking APIs, valuation engines, ledger systems, treasury workflows, and compliance tooling.

You’ll play a key part in designing and developing distributed, event-driven systems and secure, scalable backend APIs within a modern .NET ecosystem. There are no legacy systems or frameworks — you will contribute to the platform from the ground up and shape its architecture and engineering culture.

• Design and implement secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using C#.
• Develop and maintain applications in both .NET and .NET Core frameworks.
• Collaborate on building distributed, asynchronous event-driven systems.
• Apply SOLID principles and software design patterns in day-to-day development.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build systems.
• Manage code repositories, version control, branching, and merging using Git.
• Optimize Microsoft SQL Server schemas and ensure referential integrity.
• Write and maintain unit tests with a focus on test-first methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Contribute to both greenfield and brownfield development projects.

• Senior-level C# development experience (.NET and .NET Core).
• Strong knowledge of distributed, asynchronous, event-driven system design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Proficiency in Git for source control, including branching and merging strategies.
• Expertise in designing secure and performant RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Strong experience with unit testing and test-first development approaches.
• Microsoft SQL Server: schema design, optimization, and stored procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to front-end development using Angular.
• Experience with F#.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol for financial integrations.
• Knowledge of financial systems: Spot/Forward trading, trade MTM, and hedging.
• Understanding of compliance onboarding and transaction monitoring integrations.
• Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions and Cosmos DB.
• Background in payment systems and banking APIs (e.g., SWIFT, payment rails).
• Experience integrating CRM systems via REST APIs.
