QA Engineer – Manual, Automation & Technical Documentation (LATAM Based)

We are looking for a QA Engineer – Manual, Automation & Technical Documentation to join the team working on Frontline Connect. This role is ideal for someone who is highly experienced in both manual and automated testing, and who has strong technical writing skills. The candidate will lead the creation of manual testing processes, build an automation framework from scratch, and develop comprehensive technical documentation across the QA lifecycle.

The role demands close collaboration with developers and DevOps, active participation in Agile ceremonies, and ownership of test quality and documentation standards across a modern tech stack.

• Development and implementation of comprehensive manual testing processes forthe Frontline Connect platform.
• Design and implementation of test automation framework and automated testsuites.
• Development and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Supporting migrations to new technologies (Vite+Hono, Drizzle).
• Quality assurance for both Static Web Apps and Container Apps deployments.
• Integration with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD

• Design and implement end-to-end manual testing processes and workflows.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Jest, Vitest, and Cypress.
• Create, execute, and manage test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps.
• Perform regression, functional, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and application quality.
• Document all test processes, configurations, and APIs with clarity and structure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and test automation within Azure DevOps.
• Maintain version-controlled documentation, including deployment guides and user manuals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Provide testing status updates and validate fixes as part of the development lifecycle.

Documentation Development:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all QA processes.
• Create detailed implementation guides and step-by-step procedures.
• Document all test cases, test plans, and testing methodologies.
• Develop user guides and training materials for the platform.
• Create and maintain API documentation and testing procedures.
• Document deployment processes and configuration requirements.
• Establish documentation standards and best practices.
• Create troubleshooting guides and FAQ documentation.
• Manage documentation version control and distribution.

• 3-5 years of QA engineering experience, with proven ability to developtesting processes and implement automation.
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Boards, and Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Vitest,Cypress).
• Experience developing manual testing processes from the ground up.
• Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of creating effective test cases and test plans.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience testing React-based applications.
• Knowledge of API testing (REST, GraphQL).
• Basic understanding of database testing concepts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) through Azure DevOps.
• Experience with documentation tools - Confluence, SharePoint, GitBook or similar.

• Understanding of container-based testing
• Experience testing cloud deployments (particularly Azure Static Web Appsand Container Apps)
• Basic MySQL knowledge for database validation
