Senior Full Stack Developer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team. This role is central to the development and optimisation of the company’s logistics platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, scalable software while bridging technical execution with business strategy.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Plan, organise, and oversee the execution of software development projects
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders and departments to gather and clarify project requirements
• Lead and foster a collaborative team environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure quarterly projects stay on track
• Stay informed on latest technologies and best practices, particularly within PHP and modern frontend frameworks
• Shadow the Engineering Manager across BladePRO and provide support where appropriate

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficient in PHP, ideally with Laravel or similar framework
• Strong knowledge of Typescript and its type system
• Experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript frontend framework (React or Vue.js)
• Confident with SQL, able to write and optimise complex queries
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and scalability
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and debugging
• Exposure to cloud computing, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

• Direct experience with Angular (training can be provided if not)
• Prior experience in succession planning or supporting engineering management
• Experience with mentoring and coaching junior developers in a team setting

• A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong leadership qualities — not necessarily in a formal management capacity, but through mentoring and setting technical direction
• High levels of initiative and ownership, particularly in overseeing and driving project delivery
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• A problem-solver with a detail-oriented and analytical approach to identifying and resolving challenges
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is open to continuous learning and technology adoption
• A strong sense of accountability and alignment with company goals, with a focus on delivering value to end users
